The Rogue Valley Sauerkrauts German Band directed by Mike Wraight performs festive German music not only for Oktoberfests, but also for picnics, parties, weddings and other celebrations. Our 16 piece band performs in authentic German alpine hats, lederhosen and dirndls. The marches, dances and songs are long time favorites from the music houses of Germany, many of which are designed for audience participation, such as the Chicken Dance, the Beer Barrel Polka, or the Happy Wanderer, or feature the fun and virtuosity of various instruments, such as Trompeten Echo or the Clarinet Polka. Our programs are flexible and we perform to please the audience.
